The opening idea
A corner cat and a one-cell region on the far edge can remove almost every candidate from a bent middle region.
Meowdoku Level 7 answer
Try the deductions below first, or open the answer when you want to check your completed board.
Reveal all 5 cat positions
Cat coordinates
- R1C1Row 1, column 1
- R2C4Row 2, column 4
- R3C2Row 3, column 2
- R4C5Row 4, column 5
- R5C3Row 5, column 3
The 5 cats occupy distinct rows, columns and regions. Neighboring rows place cats at least two columns apart, so no cats touch at a corner.
Why the key move works
Place the opposite pink single at R4 C5
The light-pink region consists only of R4 C5. It fills row 4 and column 5.

These are frames from Nasir Ali Gamer’s recorded Meowdoku playthrough. The clean diagrams use the same region geometry; their colors are visual identifiers. Video trial moves are preserved in the source frames and explained in the captions.
Complete solving process
All steps are shown below. The route uses rule-based deductions and explains each forced square or exclusion. You can use the answer above to check your board without reading the whole sequence.
Keep the top-left cat at R1 C1
The starting cat fills its pink region, row 1 and column 1.
Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.
Place the opposite pink single at R4 C5
The light-pink region consists only of R4 C5. It fills row 4 and column 5.
Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.
Resolve the cyan bend at R3 C2
The cyan cells in column 1 are unavailable, and R4 C2 is in an occupied row. R3 C2 is the only remaining cyan square.
Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.
Place the teal cat at R2 C4
In row 2, columns 1, 2 and 5 are used. R2 C3 touches R3 C2 diagonally. Only R2 C4 remains.
Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.
Finish yellow at R5 C3
The only unused column is 3, and row 5 is the only row still empty. The final cat is R5 C3.
Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.
What can go wrong on Level 7?
- The teal top row is unavailable because row 1 already has its starting cat.
- Do not split the cyan L shape into separate regions. All its squares need a single shared cat.
Audit the row, column, colored region and immediate diagonal neighbors after every cat. If your copied board gives no solution, check uncertain X marks before changing a region boundary.
The lesson to carry into the next board
A corner cat and a one-cell region on the far edge can remove almost every candidate from a bent middle region.
On your next puzzle, look for the same type of constraint before choosing a square. A useful question is: “Which row, column or region now has fewer candidates because of my last cat?” Keep the answer tied to a specific marked cell.

This guide covers the mobile-game board visible in the linked Nasir Ali Gamer recording. Its region geometry, starting cat and completed cat locations were visually checked against the extracted opening and final frames; a solver verified the unique legal solution. Region numbers are arbitrary identifiers. Compare the opening screenshot with your board before following the coordinates.

Level 7 questions
What is the Meowdoku Level 7 answer?
For this 5×5 recorded board, the cats belong at R1C1, R2C4, R3C2, R4C5, R5C3. Compare the opening regions and given cats before applying the answer.
Why does the video use a different move order?
Several forced moves can be available at once. The written guide orders them to explain a clear deduction chain. Rejected trial crosses in the source video are not placements to copy.
What if my board is different?
Use the Meowdoku solver with your exact region map and known cats. A different map can have a different answer under the same number.
