Complete answer · one cat in each row, column and region

Cat coordinates

  1. R1C3Row 1, column 3
  2. R2C5Row 2, column 5
  3. R3C2Row 3, column 2
  4. R4C4Row 4, column 4
  5. R5C1Row 5, column 1

The 5 cats occupy distinct rows, columns and regions. Neighboring rows place cats at least two columns apart, so no cats touch at a corner.

Why the key move works

Place the dark-pink single at R4 C4

R4 C4 is a one-cell color region, so it is forced.

Complete solving process

All steps are shown below. The route uses rule-based deductions and explains each forced square or exclusion. You can use the answer above to check your board without reading the whole sequence.

01

Keep the top-center cat at R1 C3

Yellow already has its cat. Cross out all other yellow cells and column 3.

Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.

03

Place the purple single at R5 C1

The bottom-left purple region contains only this square. It fills row 5 and column 1.

Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.

Step 3 · Place the purple single at R5 C1
04

Fill the right edge at R2 C5

The first four cells in row 2 are yellow, which is already complete. Its only legal color-region option is the right-edge pink cell R2 C5.

Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.

Step 4 · Fill the right edge at R2 C5
05

Finish at R3 C2

R3 C1 and R3 C2 form the small light-pink region. Column 1 is occupied by R5 C1, so R3 C2 is forced.

Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.

Step 5 · Finish at R3 C2

What can go wrong on Level 6?

  • The yellow upper-left patch looks open, but its color is already complete because of R1 C3.
  • The two light-pink cells in row 3 are one region; column 1 cannot be used after the bottom-left purple cat is placed.

Audit the row, column, colored region and immediate diagonal neighbors after every cat. If your copied board gives no solution, check uncertain X marks before changing a region boundary.

The lesson to carry into the next board

Treat a starting cat as a completed color region, rather than only a used row and column.

On your next puzzle, look for the same type of constraint before choosing a square. A useful question is: “Which row, column or region now has fewer candidates because of my last cat?” Keep the answer tied to a specific marked cell.

This guide covers the mobile-game board visible in the linked Nasir Ali Gamer recording. Its region geometry, starting cat and completed cat locations were visually checked against the extracted opening and final frames; a solver verified the unique legal solution. Region numbers are arbitrary identifiers. Compare the opening screenshot with your board before following the coordinates.

Level 6 questions

What is the Meowdoku Level 6 answer?

For this 5×5 recorded board, the cats belong at R1C3, R2C5, R3C2, R4C4, R5C1. Compare the opening regions and given cats before applying the answer.

Why does the video use a different move order?

Several forced moves can be available at once. The written guide orders them to explain a clear deduction chain. Rejected trial crosses in the source video are not placements to copy.

What if my board is different?

Use the Meowdoku solver with your exact region map and known cats. A different map can have a different answer under the same number.
