The opening idea
A candidate can be ruled out if it would leave another region without any legal square. Use that check after reserving rows or columns.
Meowdoku Level 10 answer
Try the deductions below first, or open the answer when you want to check your completed board.
Reveal all 7 cat positions
Cat coordinates
- R1C2Row 1, column 2
- R2C5Row 2, column 5
- R3C7Row 3, column 7
- R4C1Row 4, column 1
- R5C3Row 5, column 3
- R6C6Row 6, column 6
- R7C4Row 7, column 4
The 7 cats occupy distinct rows, columns and regions. Neighboring rows place cats at least two columns apart, so no cats touch at a corner.
Why the key move works
Reserve row 2 for magenta
The magenta cell in row 1 is excluded by the starting cat. Its candidates are R2 C5 and R2 C6, so row 2 belongs to magenta and the cyan R2 C7 is unavailable.

These are frames from Nasir Ali Gamer’s recorded Meowdoku playthrough. The clean diagrams use the same region geometry; their colors are visual identifiers. Video trial moves are preserved in the source frames and explained in the captions.
Complete solving process
All steps are shown below. The route uses rule-based deductions and explains each forced square or exclusion. You can use the answer above to check your board without reading the whole sequence.
Keep the starting cat at R1 C2
The light-pink region already has its cat. Row 1 and column 2 are complete.
Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.
Reserve row 2 for magenta
The magenta cell in row 1 is excluded by the starting cat. Its candidates are R2 C5 and R2 C6, so row 2 belongs to magenta and the cyan R2 C7 is unavailable.
Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.
Place magenta at R2 C5
Cyan is confined to R3 C5, R3 C6 and R3 C7. A magenta cat at R2 C6 would touch all three of them and leave cyan nowhere to go. Therefore magenta must be R2 C5.
Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.
Place cyan at R3 C7
R3 C5 shares the magenta column, and R3 C6 touches that cat diagonally. Cyan is forced to R3 C7.
Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.
Place brown at R4 C1
Brown cells in column 2 are excluded by the starting cat. Its remaining alternative R3 C3 is in the completed third row. Brown therefore uses R4 C1.
Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.
Reserve column 3 for purple and column 4 for yellow
Purple is left with R5 C3 or R6 C3. Yellow is left with R5 C4, R6 C4 or R7 C4: its R7 C3 and R7 C5 alternatives use columns reserved for purple or already filled by magenta.
Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.
Place purple at R5 C3
If purple used R6 C3, it would occupy row 6 and touch both remaining yellow rows at R5 C4 and R7 C4. Yellow would have no legal square. So purple must use R5 C3.
Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.
Place yellow at R7 C4
R5 C4 is in an occupied row, and R6 C4 touches the purple cat at R5 C3. Yellow must use R7 C4.
Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.
Finish bright pink at R6 C6
The last empty row is 6 and the last unused column is 6. R6 C6 completes the bright-pink region.
Outlined cells show this step’s change. Cats and X marks carry forward.
What can go wrong on Level 10?
- The yellow center strip is not a one-cell region. Its final cat belongs in the bottom row after the upper band is solved.
- R3 C3 is not the brown cat: once cyan fills row 3, brown must move to R4 C1.
Audit the row, column, colored region and immediate diagonal neighbors after every cat. If your copied board gives no solution, check uncertain X marks before changing a region boundary.
The lesson to carry into the next board
A candidate can be ruled out if it would leave another region without any legal square. Use that check after reserving rows or columns.
On your next puzzle, look for the same type of constraint before choosing a square. A useful question is: “Which row, column or region now has fewer candidates because of my last cat?” Keep the answer tied to a specific marked cell.

This guide covers the mobile-game board visible in the linked Nasir Ali Gamer recording. Its region geometry, starting cat and completed cat locations were visually checked against the extracted opening and final frames; a solver verified the unique legal solution. Region numbers are arbitrary identifiers. Compare the opening screenshot with your board before following the coordinates.

Level 10 questions
What is the Meowdoku Level 10 answer?
For this 7×7 recorded board, the cats belong at R1C2, R2C5, R3C7, R4C1, R5C3, R6C6, R7C4. Compare the opening regions and given cats before applying the answer.
Why does the video use a different move order?
Several forced moves can be available at once. The written guide orders them to explain a clear deduction chain. Rejected trial crosses in the source video are not placements to copy.
What if my board is different?
Use the Meowdoku solver with your exact region map and known cats. A different map can have a different answer under the same number.
